IQ .
Marger and Autumn are discussing fruit trees .Why do you have to keep on plastering over other people′s comments with this sort of stuff ?
There are plenty of rooms above that you have taken over .Why push other people out ?
What is the matter with you ?

Autumn, I hate repeating myself. Apologies. The weather is miserably cold here and the garden is flourishing from the rain. The geraniums I planted to conserve water are flowering. Didn′t realise I had so many different varieties, sprinkled with deep purple iris. Makes the garden sound grand, but it′s just a suburban affair - lovely in it′s hey day but sadly lacking now.

I do it all the time Marger (Probably said so yesterday!)
Worst of all are anecdotes.I tell one and then later remember that I told the same person the same story the last time we met .
It really is cringe makinmg .
How did the part go Autumn?

I′m sorry.. you are more than welcome to repeat it! How did what part go? Chaos is ok.. Is there a god of chaos in myth?

There was the Greek progenitor Khaos, though the name only meant "gaping void". She was the god of the space between earth and heaven, and of the ranks of Gaia, Tartaros, and Eros.

In Greek mythology, gods represented order, and giants and monsters represented chaos.

Seems to me, that is the purpose of having "gods"; to bring meaning to the chaos that we experience.

By the way, hello everyone! I′m moved in, but have much work to do still, unpacking, yard work, etc. Will chat when I can. Hope all is well in your worlds!

Origineous.
Your modem seemed to have enjoyed being bounced around !

Autumn . I was not "part" of the "party" except in spirit.
Getting very careless with my typing these days but(dl) promise to try harder.

Origineous : Greek myths , Freud Jung ? Someone asked the other day if the Greeks really believed in their myths .
Interesting point .
I am sure many did and others were a bit cynical.Really depends on what one means by "belief " in this area .
Santa Claus , Resurrection ,Heaven .I wonder if it is all black and white and therein maybe lies the strength of it . I doubt if many can divorce themselves in toto

More than that , I wonder if the whole of the Freudian area of the human psyche ( which the Greeks did understand) and which Judaeo/Christianity tries to swep under the carpet really needs to be focussed on if we are to do away with hypocrsiy .

Thanks Jura
Went to a parade in the morning, then went water skiing and tubing in the afternoon, followed by s′mores and fireworks in the evening. All in all, a practically perfect day. :-)
